[Critical Energy]

Hi all,

I just bought an '85 Stockman ute, F10A engine I think, with alloy tray, just the thing i've been looking for.

Few questions if I could:
1- The seats are shot, assuming they are hard to get hold of in decent condition, what other seats fit (I don't mind modifying them to fit)?
2- I want to service it (god knows when it was last done), what oil & quantities will I require for engine, gearbox, transfer case, diffs?
3- The brakes are terrible, are there any common problems relating to this or just a general going over required.
4- The front left swivel hub is weeping quite badly, how do I fix that? Or am I best looking at putting wide track diffs on it (thinking of that anyway) and doing it then?
5- Rust- On inspection there appears to be very little, are there any typical spots that rust will start that I should start looking?

Sorry for all the questions, sure there will be many more over the coming years though!

1. swift seats fit with the least modifications.
3. just check over them, may need adjusting or new wheel cylinder or shoes.
4. buy a swivel rebuild kit of your local part dealer or ebay.
5. sills, floor, flares, around the battery. around the body studs. many more places you can check.
