If anyone is still looking for someone who can rebuild LJ50 crank shafts I know some one who can do it for $120 labour if you supply the parts and I know where to get them as well.

in an LJ50 they are made in multiple peices and pressed together with the bearings and conrods in place.

Only the one with the groove is a problem and that is not in the pressed together section.

most of the bearings have the roll pins in them. what do you replace them with?

The 2 bearings on the crank with the pins are just to stop the outer race slipping in the casing and bearing lock-tight will do the same thing.

If you really want the roll pins in the bearings, go find a friendly toolmaker with a plunge EDM.

The bearings will need to be sealed up well but it isn't a big job to burn some holes into the bearing.
