Hi Guys.... i am a n00b here, but im not as much of a computer n00b to not think to do a search on the forums... but that was fruitless.

What i want to know is, does anyone know how many Suzuki Sierra Classic's were made.... ?????

My one is a 1993 Zook Sierra Classic, SJ413 The same as my 1991 Hard top JX that im wrecking on gumtree at the moment... mechanically.


My Zook is #53!!! :) it says so on the dashboard plaque.... Ill post photo's tomorrow during the day light of the dash plaque...

it has silver trim, guards, skirts, bumpers and bar,

Black paint.

Ive got some photo's of the car side on etc (my profile picture is the car im talking about) and yes it has a 2 inch front spring lift and is still waiting on the 2 inch's to go into the rear.... the 2 inch body lift is going in shortly there after. :)


IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ON HOW MANY OF THESE WERE PRODUCED... please let me know :) would be nice to know if its #53 of 100... or #53 of 1000 :)

Pretty sure Sierradan's is a "CLASSIC" too, it has that sticker on the b-pillar

It's an SJ413, not a SJ410.

i may have meant 413 not 410... here is the plaque on the passenger side of the dash near the aircon vent/handle bar :) uh ill post it to the original post/edit etc

I did mean sj413.... 1991/1993 are the two sierra's ive had... both mechanically the same except one hard top one soft top... thats my knowledge level which is why im asking history questions here :) i do have enough knowledge to manufacture my own 2" body lift... and ill post pics in a second of what i made today :) i wanted to keep the stock sway bar even with the 2" spring lift i have on the front of the car... so i macgyvered my own solution :)

so now when i go out to try and get bogged at menai.... i can undo 4 bolts... two top, two bottom, and take the sway bar out :) but yea.. i might put this in the tech section...

most people just leave the sway bar off on the sierra's after lifting them.

I realise this... the first sierra i bought, the hard top im wrecking... it had no sway bar on it from the start.... And it handled like it was on ice/driving in a hurricane when you were at 100km/hr on the motorway.... this was also because the front passenger spring mount was bent about 10mm out of whack :P but on the newer sierra... with road tyres... the sway bar did make a bit of a difference to high speed handling of the car....

But the sierra classic i bought was totally stock standard!!! :) no modifications... no dings and dents from off roading etc... so im doing conservative but worthwhile mods to it... the 2 inch spring and 2 inch body i had is going into this one... im fixing up the springs etc... but im considering much more hectic things in the near future.... trailing arm suspension etc.. coil over... when calmini come out with their new kit :) lets see how much it costs...

Oh... and... im going SPOA... i bought a welding jig, diff housing, and about 20 SPOA brackets to do the job a couple of days off ebay.... just have to pick it up :) if anyone is interested in the 8 pairs of diff bracks im going to have left over.... let me know... ill put a thread in the classifieds section..

Nah, I think that's all you need. Just glue on the new perches with the mig & it's done. :|

LOL :) how about a 2.0 litre VW TDI motor... mated with the acme engine adaptor kit.. up to the toyota R22 Gearbox... off to a couple of transfer cases... down to hilux diff's :P *stirs up the hornet's nest* :P

it probably says sierra like all the other ones....

i'm guessing all what you have is an ateco dealer run out, that they probably did for 100 sierra's to move old stock & there is nothing special about them apart from the stickers & dash plaque.

Heheh sweet! :) i purchased mine from a guy in wisemans ferry... so it must have been a nSW car...probably purchased from action suzuki at parramatta... i havent got much in the way of log books with mine unfortunatly :(

Does yours have the dash plaque too Munster?? I noticed your zook has the silver trim too :) black looking? :) my zook and yours are long lost brothers lol :)
