Hey all the other week end driving home from the bush I had a massive death wobble at 60 so bad I had to pull over and stop it wouldn't go away! Didn't do it again I could power through it.... I have jacked up the zook to find the death wobble... The passengers side is fine... The drivers ya move up (as in top of tyre gos towards the motor) but it doesn't move going down( as in top of tyre to me)... What is that? Not wheel bearing other wise it would move either direction.... Could it be king pin bearings? |

I would say king pins. Is there any side to side wobble? |

yeah i reckon it could be either, king pins or wheel bearings, ya never know till you pull it apart. If it's never been done or it's about time, maybe replace the whole lot? king pin bearings, wheel bearings, swivel hub kit. ... and don't go in mud |

That's what I did. The lot!! It stopped the death wobble. Wasn't cheap. Now some caster bushes to stop the shimmy |
