Is warranty on the gears transferable? If so, $600 would be fair for second hand with warranty. If not, max I would pay is $400. $600 for new gears with warranty, $115 for extra bearings, in old case. So $800 in bits + labour. $1000 for brand new, installed gears and bearings with warranty. $800 for brand new bits and old case, with warranty. Without warranty, $600 is way too high, compared to what it costs for the new parts etc and warranty. |
