I have a new reverse light switch and am yet to try to replace it in my vitara. I have searched the internet but no luck. Was just wondering where it is on a swb 92 vitara. Is it easy enough for me, someone with basic skills to replace it? |

Yeah mate just did mine on my 96 sierra was a piece off piss just locate the switch ontop of the gearbox and follow the wiring until you come across a plug- unplug it, then get your trusting shifter and spin the switch off. |

Thanks for all your help. I have just been able to replace it AND they now work according to someone passing by. Still going to test it once it gets a bit darker. |

What are the other switches on the gearbox?? I've just swapped mine over and found the gearbox I put it has an extra switch where on my old gearbox it was just plugged up. I'll find a pix in the morning. |

Other wiring is the '4WD' and 'LO' lights from the transfer. No other switches on gearbox, just detent balls and springs under screw plugs. |

If it is Sierra you're interested in, see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=40907 |
