anybody know where to get a solid pinion spacer for a vit front diff? I think this is the reason the GV's blow crownwheels cause the crush spacer squashes under load. or better still, Dimensions for a spacer so I can get one made up |

I dont know but I know the same thing happens to Holden Jackaroos as well. (and it costs a bucket to fix) Are crush spacers fitted to all vehicles, Do sierras have these?? |

yeah all diffs have them,or something along the same line,sierras also have them |

Not all e.g. Patrols, but most these days due to cost. I got mine from Matt at Total Traction Drivelines in Melbourne and he fine tunes it to the right size for the individual diff. |

Here is an interesting article on the subject. Granted it's aimed at Toyota stuff but AFAIK the zook gear is of a very similar design. http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/crush_sleeve/ Royce, have you looked any further into this? |
