Hey guys i have just bought a g16a with auto mated to it its going into a sierra just wondering were the kickdown cable hooks up? Is it to the carbie or the acc pedal? Or somewere else does anyone have any pics of the motor end of the cable

In a vitara the cable goes from the transmission to a little pulley box thing on the drivers side guard and then out of that to where the accelerator cable connects on the carby.

It is possible to run the cable from the transmission to the accelerator pedal instead. If you look up the trolley tug build on here im pretty sure it was done this way as it used a baleno motor, I'm pretty sure you can drill out the end of the cable and put a bolt through it.

I've got an unused pulley doobie in my car still, never took it out when the auto came out

I'd use the relay doovalacky if your using a carby engine and auto. That's not feasible for a EFI/ trimatic swap.
