http://www.4x4tyres.co.uk/grand-vitara-door-1997-to-2000/16inch-7inch-black-spoke-grand-vitara-door-1997-to-2000-steel-wheel-p-3909.html

4 rims $500 delivered to my door in WA.

Thats a good find, but you do realise that XL-7s have 16X7 rims 5P offset, and GV's are 16X6.5 5P steel or alloy?

If you are planning weld on beadlocks no problem, neither OEM rim can accommodate them, but otherwise I reckon XL-7 or GV rims are the go.

So these rims will sit further towards the hub? by 5 as they have a 0 offset? would this cause problems?

wasn't planning on bead locks steve was looking purely looking because I think these black rims look better than the steel GV rims I have. just a taste thing really. For my own satisfaction on aesthetics they should be ok though right??

That's an alright price. If you go down to your local tyre shop they should be able to hook you up for 16x7 sunnys for around $115 ea I think I was quoted. That was in a -13 though.

0 Offset means that the rim will move out towards your arch 5mm over a +5 offset.

I think the important point is that they're only 5mm different to what you've just ordered. 0 vs 5P It won't cause a problem per se if you're already running GV rims, but it's effectively $500 for a rim that's 1/2" wider.

Got ya steve! Not ordered them just yet, but i will do when i get a bit of cash. Hi-flow cat and 2" exhaust is being saved up for now, just thought id share what i found as I struggled to get them wheels.

@Klutched , I asked a few places around here, but couldnt get a solid 'yes' of any places in the 5x139 stud pattern...

Dynamic and Gecko also do a 16x7 with 5x139.7 pcd. They really shouldn't be that hard to find.

Steve.

We had 16x7 steels on the LWB models, they tend to be quite sought after for Vits and Sammys as well because of the offset.
Edit: from what I can find its
16x6.5 with 10mm offset
16x7 with 25mm offset

so by my calculations they both stick out the same distance +/- a mm.
