Garden hose is no good. Rusho wrote: If you listen to some of the dribble in there though, people will tell you garden hose is no good It lasted me ONLY 2 1/2 years I have 6 years on my fuel line breathers. I've swapped everything else on the car around them. They're still fine. Maybe replacement diffs/rebuilds are free for you, but 2.5 years isn't long enough out of a breather for me. Steve. |

I only took it off to do the front end..would have lasted lasted longer but I figured I had a spare 15meters left over, I would treat the girl to some new hose. Alex....each to there own. You can tell from the first few comments how this thread will turn out

To answer your question 1/2inch hose will fit over the breather pipe once you pop the cap off. alternatively you run a 1/8"bsp tap down the middle of the breather pipe and put a brass hosetail in of any size you like, or a pushlok air fitting and run nylon tube which is what I done. Looks neat and tidy. Not dodgy and bulky like 1/2inch hose and garden hose..... |
