Vitara Master cylinder and subaru booster.

I've upgrade my maruti from non boosted (1.0litre) master cyl, to sierra cyl and subaru booster. It's a phenomenal improvement.

Google "bolt on subaru master cylinder upgrade". You should find a link to ZukWharrie that has the details. I don't believe the specifics are on AZ.

The Subarau option was going to workout too expensive for my liking so I used a GQ MC which bolts straight to the Sierra booster.

I went disc/disc because Ive got a disc all round, it works really well in my setup. I dont have any experience with the disc/drum model sorry, it is a 1 inch bore which is bigger then the Sierra one so should be an upgrade for it.

Old thread dig: i have a WT Maruti, will the forester GT master cylinder with the sierra booster be suitable for rear drums? Or does it need other parts added in or no good? If not, whats something that would fit in relatively easy? I have LWB vit front calipers but i dont currently plan to upgrade to rear disc, nor do i need it boosted, i just want the brake pedal to have less travel...

Suby Master Clinder is a 1 1/8 bore.

It will bolt up to a Sierra booster with minor adjustments to the pushrod.

Perfect for disc rear but will work on drum rear also.

will bolt up but i think those are the ones with the bolt pattern which is angled 45 degrees.

so the MC wouldnt be upright
