I have to modify the intake for the Vit 1.6 to shoehorn it under the LJ bonnet. Does it make any difference where I place the airflow meter? |

No. Its not a tuned intake setup. Just make sure that the two hoses that are plumbed into the intake AFTER the AFM remain between the AFM and throttle body. Also, I suspect that those smaller hoses ARE tuned length, so try not to change them. |

Thanks Fat, I thought this but just wanted to make sure. I didnt rip the engine out of the Vit so I am not sure of the hoses you mean |

Its a terrible pic, but if you look closely, you will see two hoses entering the intake pipe between the two blue silicone joiners. There are barbed fittings welded in.
