I dunno, the add looks crap..... "made by the worlds no 1 compressor manufacturer" but doesn't say who  Looks a million dollars cos its gold  Can inflate your average 4wd tyre quick......as long as its a small suv tyre  Looks like junk to me, I'd stay away.....but thats only my opinion

150l/m? I call BS. That's 5.3cfm. The Arb twin piston does 6.5cfm and needs up to 70A to do it. If this thing can do 5.3cfm at 45A then it's way more efficient than anybody else's compressor, in a way that makes me highly suspicious. Steve |

Fuel economy figures make me rofl. Ferrari have built a car that officially achieves 0.0l/100km (urban cycle) It can run on batteries for exactly the duration of the EU test. Thereafter, as the test rolls into the extra urban cycle it consumes about 20l/100km, so it's "urban" figure is 0.0 and its extra urban homes out at 12.5 or something. It's not a production model, but it does show how the test can be fiddled to make a car look awesome. The Prius is another example. The widow sticker is awesome, but in reality their nothing special. I have a cheapo compressor, advertised at 200psi, it struggles to get to 40 - the gauge does go up to 200 though! |

I got a similar one it does ok I have a 6l air tank on it as its mounted in my cab It will reseat a 35 bead Its got nothing on my twin piston arb in my ute That thing is crazy |

I have searched far and wide for a compressor to rival the Twin ARB unit that matches it for size, output and capacity and there is nothing on this earth that I can find which matches it for suitability for use in a 4wd. There are some industrial units kicking round but they would be hard to adapt. On topic that just looks like another Chinese compressor with some gold anodising. You get what you pay for! $550 for the ARB unit I think is good value for money considering the performance. |

X2. I crunched the numbers and setting up even an engine driven compressor that matches the performance of the twin piston compressor will cost almost as much and be a massive headache to sort. Steve |

I don't know about the amps/flow/psi flow rate or what ever (Can't be bothered to work it out) but I have had one for over a year and find it inflates tyres that are flat or low on pressure in a reasonable time and still works fine but the leads were a bit short for a Maxi van so had the make longer ones - Good value I think. |

That compressor looks VERY similar to mine. I mounted it under the bonnet in early 2006. It's still going strong. As Tony says, it works well and inflates tyres in a reasonable time... The only difference between mine and that one is, mine doesn't have the gold

bushranger compressors can be had for an extra $60 and seem to be reliable even if they arent the fastest out there |

I have the BBT one and it works fine. Don't use it much now I have one built in. Might not have the flow rate claimed but it works. It is quite large so check out the dimensions. The size is one reason I don't carry it round any more. Took up nearly as much space as a 20 l jerry can (well not quite but you get the picture) |

I have one of the small Chinese compressors and it takes forever to inflate the Vits 33s from 10psi to 23psi, mainly because I have to stop for some time between reach tyre to let it cool down. It takes something like five to ten minutes per tyre plus cooling time. |

Never had a problem with the BBT one shutting down and it was pretty fast. For $99 the only issue I found was the size. |

I have one and am now considering an ARB comp. the first time I used mine it seized within a second. I stripped it, cleaned the rust from the bores, and greased it. It's been working ever since but I don't trust it. It's not as fast as my previous $100 single cylinder compressor. |

i bought a tigerz11 compressor, got lucky and got it for $100 second hand but unused still in box... and i think its great. only had it 6 months but its been used a lot. usually has to do my 31's from 7-30psi and and a mates 33's from 10-35psi so gets a decent workout... yet to have a drama. they're cheaper than the ARB compressors and are about the same speed. i wouldnt have paid $220 new for one, but after using one i'd definitely take it over other similar priced brands. |
