Hi guys. Do you think it will be possible to only install the lowrange set of gears and leave the high range as it is? Here are some drawings. The guyas from trailjimny said that you need to adjust both high and low range by the same amount. Can someone shed a little light on if this is possible? Also will gearing the front and rear diffs differently be a must more costing process in relations with a 27 % reduction @650 euros? My jimny is a 2009 vvt 1.3 manual.

The reason that the Trial Jimny gears affect High and Low equally by the same percentage is that they replace part No1 and part No12 in your first diagram. As far as finding APIO, why not read the threads on AUszookers about Jimny Reduction, hey?: In THIS THREAD I posted the link to the APIO site and the price is still 192,000 yen. Back then, the exchange rate made that AU$2400, but today the conversion is only AU$1950. The APIO set replaces the whole Planetary gear set, so only reduces Low range by 58%. You have to send them your old planetary gears, and they fit new gears to them and send them back to you, so also allow for postage in both directions on top of that price.

i have done quite a bit of research on the gearing, finding a sj 410 or a sj 430 transferbox is also going to cost me , and then i need some flances and propshafts, and then i will have a really high revs on 120 km/h with the higer high range ratio, i was looking at trail jimny's 27% gearset, but then i must rather try to get Something done with my front and rear diff ratios, i am looking for the cheapest option to my gearing problem , but i doubt its ever going to be cheap.

Custom transfer gears will cost more than all your other gearing options combined.

will it be wize to put the old jimnys diffs into a vvt 's jimny? like say a 2001 models diff gears into a vvt?
what would the reduction be?
the vvt diff ratio is 1:4.30 and the old jimny's diff ratio will be 1:4.090
my low range is at 1:2002 and my high range is at 1:1001

The cheapest way to lower a Vvt Jimny, high and low, by 25% is to swap your electric transfer for an earlier model stick shift transfer.
1x transfer = $200 1x transfer boot = $30 1x shortened Vvt intermediate shaft = $300
Swapping to earlier HIGHER ratio diffs combined with the above will give you a drop around 21% but will add a fair bit more cost, although there'd probable be plenty of guys willing to swap to achieve a 4% drop on their early Jimny.

Roughly 25%, more or less, in high and low. I don't know of anyone who's done this yet so only basing it on my own search for a gear fix.

According to the data I have, and every Jimny spec sheet I have found on the net, the older Jimny transfer cases were all H=1:1.32 and L=1:2.145... Giving a 32% reduction in high and 7% reduction in low. So on 29's, your highway revs are huge and only a quarter that difference for offroad.
Whereas, an auto VVT box is 27% higher ratio in both. Only problem is, the auto case chain is 5mm narrower than the manual case.

I may be wrong but those reductions seem a bit out.

Yep, If you did the swap the other way around, e.g. put a VVT transfer into a NON VVT Jimny it would be 32% higher... argh! When you swap a NON VVT transfer into a VVT Jimny you achieve a 24.25% reduction.
The low range is a 7% reduction as stated by Bugsta.

Correct.
REVS will be around 4,000 or so at highway speeds.
