hi guys just fitted a weber to my sierra and its running like crap. runs awesome wile revved but revs up and down roughly wile idling. also the breather hose that comes from the PCV valve and the rocker cover is making a popping noise. it isn't constant, only when the revs die then go up. any idea what the popping could be? |

Adjust the idle on the carby to run slightly richer on idle. The popping noise sounds like not enough air/ file at the right time. Weber carby are a pain to tune but when the are perfect worth there wait in gold. Just my two cents could be wrong but i have had the same problems in the past on my old VH. Give it a go to see. http://www.carburetion.com/Weber/adjust.htm or just search google for weber adjustment/ tuning a weber carby |
