hi AZ,

Does anyone see any problems with running one of these fused battery terminals with an 100Amp ANL fuse instead of a fusible link on my sierra? My plane is to run a suitable sized wire from the 110amp falcon alternator straight into this terminal on the battery. Then I'll run the factory yellow/white wire into one of the auxiliary fusses in the terminal aswell.

I was thinking this would make things a little neater with the wiring but if you guys don't think it's worth it I could just get the an auto spraky to make me a new fusible link to suit the 110A alternator.

I would do it, not that terminal though cause there is nowhere for the starter cable to go

Looks more like a terminal for the second battery. I am not sure what the starter current is for a Suzuki but quite possibly up near 100 amps. I agree with Royce. I like the look of the terminal set up but no where to connect a winch or starter cable, that is why I think it is not meant for the main battery.

ahh you guys are right, I completely forgot about the starter wire haha. Does anyone know of any fused terminals that would work? I can't seem to find any others online. I suppose if I can't find a suitable terminal I could just put a 100amp fuse in a fuse holder?

Can you run a circuit breaker? There are some high amp multi outlet breakers out there, either auto resetting or manual. Remote mount it with some 0 gauge.

have a look around a wreckers at some late model stuff, I reckon you'll find something to suit you

it claims you can run a starter off the 8mm post

"CAL2 Fuse Technology
Allows the load of a starter motor or winch to operate without blowing the fuse, but is still sensitive enough to blow in the case of a direct short. 150A continuous/800A peak fuse. "

for $40 id give it a try
