Discovered my drivers side, outer, CV boot is split the other day. Since I have hubs, it isn't spinning whenever I drive so grease is yet to be flung everywhere. I'll probably have to take it in to get fixed up as I don't have the time to waste fixing it currently, I have 4 new boots on the way, is there anything else I should look at replacing while the mechanics have it apart? (car is reaching up to 130k) |

I'd replace the whole axle cv, keep old as a spare . Mine had a split boot, only took a month for the cv to implode after that. I'm guessing water etc got in and rusted up its innards |

(car is reaching up to 130k) RHS diff seal where the CV stub axle slides in to the diff & maybe one of bruce's support bushes. |

Both the support bush and the oil seal slide in from the outside (ie. you can do it with the diff in place). |
