Post subject:  Sierra cv joints!!
Hey all snapped two cv joints this week lol had couple of spare cvs built up on axles,

I now have to replace the cv just wondering wether you put the shaft in the vice and smack the fuck out of it until the snap ring comes apart?? Eny help would be awesome thanks:)

I usually just hold the axle in my hand and run a heavy hammer along the axle till it hits the CV and it pops off.
I've used pipe too. A little longer than the axle. Hold the CV and slam it into the pipe and the axle pops out.

But, that gets old. 4340 wins :D
