Got one, pumps up my 31's fast enough, the included loom was plenty long enough, compact size is great. Ive had plenty of mud and stuff on it and used the pressure hose to clean it off and its never missed a beat. It might not be as quick as some others out there but its reliable and i think thats what matters. If i upgraded mine it would only be for the twin piston one. The good thing about the ARB compressors is they actually publish the CFM at a given psi. others just say 150lpm but you can only assume thats at free air delivery |

I'm only pumping up 235/75r15 mounting it behind the passengers seat. How does it go heat wise? |

It gets pretty warm by the time you have pumped up all the tires, but theres plenty of people who have theirs mounted under the seats etc so shouldn't be a problem |

It gets hot to the touch, whether or not it would melt carpet i dont know. I'm sure someone with one mounted internally will pipe up and let you know. You could always shield the carpet with a bit of sheet metal bolted through the base with it. |

I got one, love it. Gets fricken hot, but has a cut-out to prevent damage. Mines bolted to underside my false floor, right next to my seat and some marine carpet (look at my build for pics) never had a drama. The cut-out has only cut in once when I was up to the 7th tyre I was inflating at the time. |

ARB only item mate, so... ARB? dont think other stores stock their gear. or 2nd hand. You should be able to talk them down in price a bit, I think I got the compressor and air-up kit for 300-320ish when I got mine. |

You could save like 30 by going on eBay but then you have to wait! I love mine it's in it's 2nd car. I pump my zook tires up then friends 35's and it doesn't cut out. Takes a bit with the 35's though |

Maybe it was a hotter day, less or more humidity in the air, different hose set up, nozzle set up, ect |

Hot, Humid, typical nth qld day, was pumping up massive tyres on my brothers car and mine on pretty much constant duty cycle. ARB air hose kit, and you've seen where I have it mounted.... and if you havent ![]() I only use the compressor with the seat forward, I need to anyway to get the hose out from under the seat, so airflow is okay, no worse than a hot engine bay. Do these things need a bit of machine oil every now and then or anything? |
