Quick question, but does anyone have extended front bump stops? My 29" tyre rub a lot when hitting big bumps. It's ok for normal duty / light offroad.

Thanks

you can use a rubber mallet or hockey puck as a check bump stop extension,
this is a jeep site but you get the idea

Yes, but no photo and expensive.

I was thinking of some cheap PU or something you can inflate (just an idea)...

That's works for the rear but not for the front on a jimny. The bumps stops are pushed in and the only way to get them out are to get 2 screw drivers and lever them out. Chances are you will break them getting them out and will need new ones.

Only sort way I've thought of doing front bump stops on a jimny is to get a peace of 10mm plate, drill a hole and tap it out to 10mm then get a whole saw and cut the peace to suit the ID of the recess in side the front coil mount where the rubber bump stop sat. Weld the new peace into the recess and use jimny / vit bump stops with spacers to suit. I think this would be the best looking option.

I made a cone in the front and welded it to the axle spring mount. Also stops the spring coming out of mine on full flex. It's not hard to cap a piece of pipe and weld it on.
