Are you sure its not just the bearings getting noisy? Have you pulled it out and taken a look at the teeth surfaces? |

My maruti front and rear were both 45/11. Ie. 4.09. Have since used jimny rears on 2 occasions, they were both the same ratio. I must be the luckiest Bastard alive then? |

Heaps of 4x4s have way more wear difference front to back than this. F-all difference. |

Ive got maruti diffs fitted to a wt diff housing. But there is nt and wt maruti's |

Thanks guys! the hunt continues! my diff is ok for the moment. still nosey! but not so much! want to try to get a GOOD c/p and build with a air locker. |

digging up an old thread: so what was the consensus on maruti vs jimny ratio's? would a jimny crownwheel and pinion be suitable for a swap into a WT maruti rear to replace frucked C&P without having to change the front? |

Yes, its how I run mine. Jimny rear is identical to maruti and can be put in front or rear. |

Whole centre. I haven't personally pulled a centre from anything newer than around '05 so can't comment on new models. All the old ones I have seen were OK to use. |
