Hey first time post, long time reader , I've seen a lot of threads explain holiday diff swap etc But I'm wanting to take a set of 1.3 diffs and put them on my 1L LWB Is it a straight swap or do I have to re welding the diffs with new u bolt Mounts on the diffs ? Is the chassis the same between the two , I'm still looking but if anyone knows a thread for this conversation will be very helpful Thanks

NT 1.3 axlehousings will straight swap, but the tubes are a larger diameter, so you ill need the u bolts and ubolt plates from a 1.3. WT 1.3 axlehousings aren't a straight swap at all, the spring pads need to be removed from the axle and welded back in closer together. Steve. |
