been taking my jimny out on pretty boggy sand and it seems to have a burning clutch smell if it works to hard? first of all is that common? It didnt bother me because the smell went away and the jimny still performed fine, took it out this morning and the same smell but worse and at times I couldnt put it in gear? plus when I eventually got it in gear the performance seemed off to its usual standard? have I blown my clutch? |

Yet to see a blown clutch. You've burnt it and worn it prematurely. As to how much life it has left..... probably not much |

Most likely burned out the clutch. But mud, sand and water may have got into it. Or clutch cable is starting to jam up. |

I was in high then hit a soft patch tried getting it out and started to smoke! popped it in low and it only made it smoke worse possibly riding the clutch I tend to do it sometimes without noticing |
