Hey guys, been doing some looking around on here, researching what shocks to put in the rear of my vitara, vp and vn seem to be the ones to suit 2inch spring lift, so I bought some Gabriel guardians. Put one in and jacked the vit up and down to see how much flex I would get, but before the shock got to its full extension the spring came loose buy about 50mm and the brake lines pulled tight, I couldn't find anyone that's on here that has used a spring retainer or extended brake lines with this setup. Please help
Cheers smally1.6

Just stick spring spacers plus a Heim joint spacer in

but look at longer brake lines - you dont want to be using them as limiting straps! =)

Unbolt brake and handbrake lines from the clips on the chassis, gives them more wiggle room.

Are you're springs so short that they will fall out? Mine have always been loose but the don't fall out.

My TD GV coils are 365mm free - 550 would be hoooooge, they'd have to be beyond Calmini soft and be binding almost at ride height...?
