Hi guys, After a few opinions, I've spoken to a guy who sells brand new corolla carbs that bolt up to a standard 1.3 ltr sierra engine this gets rid of that water choke will run a manual choke for $350 which isn't bad I thought. The guy who sells them has one on his sierra and he reckons they go better and more reliable anyone ever fitted one pros and cons??? |

If its the one i'm thinking of you should be able to pick it up for cheaper than $350,they are Chinese copies.If its a NOS Carby then $350 is a bargain. |

Go to a wrecker and get a late model Vitara carb for well under that price. Far better than the corolla. Nothing wrong with the Vitara water choke. |

I thought the Vitara carb. had to be re-jetted??.The Mikuni off the Colt was all the go in the 1990's but you don't hear much about it as a conversion these days. |

But for the Money and Reliablity i thought it wasnt Bad, I'll Dig up some More info On he Carby. Water Choke Seems To Be Painfully Slow To Open on First Start Thought Manual Choke Would be the Way To Go. |

I'd jump over to rollaclub.com and put up a wtb, i bet you coudl get one for $20. Then grab a carby kit if it needs it. I actaully put a nikki carby on my old 4k, it bolted on no worries, that went pretty good! (nikki is off some early mazdas, 929s and some smaller engines) So a nikki is another option perhaps instead of the 4k carby. |

No,it would be interesting to see which model is best and how it goes,not much help but thats more like the $ for Chinese copies. |

Makes reading your posts harder than it needs to be, a big downside to this for you, is that if people cannot easily read and understand your posts then they will not answer. |

Myside2/sidewinder CV kit would be the best carb solution, with efi the best. Zuksoffroad have efi kits atm As well as the CV kits |
