| Post subject: | Wheel sizes for a SWB Vit |
I've got to a point in my Vitara rebuild where I need to think about wheels. I have contacted Allied Wheels for some info on what they can machine up for me and what will fit. A bit of info: My vit has a 2"spring lift, no body lift, will have flares as required. My requirement to Allied was I wanted alloys, 110 mm center, F100 studs, I want more offset to get a bit more track. Allied have suggest we go with a 15 x 8 " rim with a 0 offset. This will mean the wheel sticks out about 30mm (can be covered off by flares). the problem I have is they also say there needs to be 4 1/2 " between the boltup face and the tie rod end. With the Vit, the tie rods are inside the Brake area so it would only matter when on full lock toward the tie rod. Tyres - I would look at 235/75-15's Has anyone got any suggestions ?? - What rims fit ?? |

8" rims are too wide for 235's in my opinion I'm running 10P 7" alloys now, they fit easily. O offset would be good. |

I agree - 8"is too wide. I am really after a 15 x 7 .. the 10P's I guess are ROH ? - they don't make anything to fit anymore. As they are a F100 stud patern I think I may be better off trying the USA for some.... stay tuned... |

Theres a few alloys for sale in the sale section. Some 5.5" 25P, and some 7" 5P and some 6" unknown offset |
