Sorry for dumb question but do the 3 screws on the outer rim of a Coilys Brake Drum have to be removed before removing the drum itself,they are frozen in.I did a search and nothing relevant showed. ... TIA. |

No leave them. Hand brake off, put wheel back on and do nuts up halfway, make sure car is supported well and use the wheel as a slide hammer. If that fails do nuts up hand tight and undo the four nuts inside the 5 wheel nuts and pull the wheel away it should leave the drum stuck to the back of the rim. If that fails you may have to back the tensioner off. Not sure if you can do that from a hole on backing plate. |

Thanks for the tips,the drum is on tight and i thought i better check before bashing it. |
