So i have decided to make a rear bar for my sierra, So far im upto cutting out the mounting brackets.
This brings me to the question as to what is the best way to mount it? Straight back onto where the old original bumper is?
There will be two recovery points, but i was wondering would it be alright to have the mounting brackets as my recovery points?

If I were you
I would do the ball and shep method for the winch bar on the front

Piece of pipe through the xmember.
Weld some plates to the end of the pipe.
Bolt the brackets for rear bar and recovery points to these plates.
