They aren't recovery points, you'l find they're probably rated to about 1 ton.

^^^ what he said.

they're a lifting eyelet, not rated as recovery eyelet due to the side loading etc that they can receive.

Search lifting eyes. Most chain and rigging places would have them. I "think" they are OK for winching, but not snatching. Even then it would depend on the load rating...

Not really related but do you know how much those xrox bars are if they make a vitara version?

A lifting eye that is suitable for winching a 2t car would be an M27 thread, and would poke out 110mm from the face of the bar.

the eyelets fitted to those X-rox bars are rated WELL under 2T.

My brother purchased one for his Xrox bar from the local nut & bolt store, however they're not used for towing just to hook the winch on when it's not in use.

Thanks for all your help guys, I think I've been put in the right direction.

If anyone was curious what I was using them for, I've got an XROX bar on order and I liked the way they looked on the picture I attached. So that's pretty much all I'm going to use them for hahaha Judging by Fatzook's comments I don't think I could use it for much more than using it for looks or hanging up my handbag hahaha

I wouldn't be too keen trying to actually recover off them hahaha

I'd say leave them off - before some clueless person does try to use them.
