Is there a way to get a g16b with a dizzy from a baleno into a sierra. (like an angle drive for the dizzy). or would i have to buy a vitara or a coil pack head? |

You can fit all the bits from an angle drive G16B out of a Vitara easily enough.. EG: Cam, dissy, angle drive housing. G16B heads are all same same. The problem lies in getting the Vit dissy to work with the Baleno wiring/computer. |

The baleno dizzy has 5 teeth on it's rotor, the vitara has 4. It is possible to pull them apart, remove the baleno rotor and fit it to the vitara shaft. I can post some pics when I finish work |

Just bought this for $270 and drove it home, motor sounds healthy but will probably rebuild it before it goes into my ute. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/mount-gr ... 021941753# |

Has some kms on it but still a good price. This is the baleno unit ![]() This is vit. ![]() Pretty much just the rotors that need swapping. The vit unit has four, baleno has five. To pull the Baleno one apart, you need to punch out the pin going through the cog(cam end), remove the cog and push the shaft up through the top. The vit unit, has a crush pin thing, you will need to drill one end of the pin out and punch it through. Once there apart, mark the vit shaft in line with something on the rotor, I cant remember what I did here, you should be able to work it out. Then remove the rotors from the shafts, you should be able to stick a punch down through the hole in the top of the rotor, and punch it out. Then its pretty much a case of line the vit shaft upto a the baleno rotor and press/hammer em together. Reinstall shaft into vit dizzy, refit cog and insert a new pin. Then just check clearances on the pick up when its back together.. |

If you are not going to use the balano cam setup throw it my way. I need something to measure up and play with |
