I have a bit of a problem. We have this strange vibration that comes through the accel pedal at 3000rpm. It feels like a harmonic vibration. The engine feels a little rough at those rpm when just revving free too. So I looked under the car today and see I have a oil leak. Its diff oil I think. I stinks! Im pretty sure my front diff is leaking and also a cv boot is leaking. Here are some pics.      Is this an easy fix? |

just blown a seal in the RHS, get a new seal + a support bush from bruce & some free wheeling hubs to stop the CV's from spinning all the time |

Thanks for the reply. Is that the grey thing in the pic above? Easy to pull the shaft out? There a diy around? Also where do you get free wheeling hubs from? |

FWH's off a 1.6 vitara the seal is in the diff, you'll need to remove the CV & it's a bit of a mission... plenty of threads on how to pull a CV on here. |

Any idea what the strange vibration at 3000rpm would be through the accel pedal? So you just buy the free wheel hubs from a 1.6 vitara? Sweet. Whats a good price? |

get the bolts & cone washers that hold the FWH on too. NFI on the vibration, could be 11ty billion things that are impossible to diagnose from a screen a keyboard.
