Does anyone know any upgrades that have been done to vitara CVs? I busted one on the weekend out in jenolan and i'd rather not do that again (2wd, sideways, inbetween two trees on a mountain).

Also, what diff ratios do vitaras run as standard? I believe the auto and manual ones are different (obviously) but what are they? I need to re-gear it as 31s have left me with terrible gearing.

vitara efi man and auto have 5.1's.
vitara carby man 5.1's.
vitara 3 speed auto 4.6's.

5.1 is the lowest factory you can get, hence why vits with big tyres are so hard to gear.
