How have people run a breather hose of the gearbox? I thought I have read that the stock breather barb has holes on the side of the barb instead of on top so a hose can't be slid directly on to it. I might be making up stories though |

Pry the cap off the breather with a screwdriver and you'll see there is a plug in the top with a little hole in it. Remove the plug. Fit breather hose of your choice.
