I have 1.6 carby vitara, it had the little bit of blow by not to much but all of a sudden I have oil pouring out of tappet cover into carby via the hose. What has caused this need help

It had rebuild by previous owner 40k ago as well and never used a drop of oil then this morning is have noticed massive amounts of oil running through that pipe into the carby causing it not to run

i had same problem with my old g13ba and think we put it down to our fault for putting the rings in wrong and caused the blowby to pressurize the sump pumping more oil into the tappet cover and then along that pipe into the carby.

i maybe wrong as i never fixed it cause i put a g16b in it instead

Do a dry compression test, then a wet compression test.

That should give you a good indication if its ring related or valve stem related.

Have you checked the Pcv valve?

What is a pcv valve and my oil level on dipstick has doubled and no water hasn't gone into it

Just figured the problem out. Fuel pump diaphragm died causing motor to be filled with fuel
