Heya I have just bought a 94 hard top sierra and after taking it out for a wheel I have realised that I need to do some mods the planned mods are to run 30x9.5 tyres with 2' lift and a locker or 2 and mainly driving firm dirt tracks or rocks with the occasional mud run I had a 93 soft top and had 6.5:1 gears running 235/75/15 tyres and was great off road to have the control but found that driving anywhere other than off road was keeping the engine up around the 4000 revs at 100k's ive been looking at the gear kits on lror and not sure what one to buy for my zook I know that they say what size tyres the kits suit but im not sure if I should get the 4.9:1, the 5.14:1 or the 6.5:1 Im going with a 30' and don't plan to go any bigger than a 31' tyre later on What one do you guys suggest or recommend |

At the moment its grandpa spec stock so it sits on 3500 revs doin just over 100k's So like red89 said 5.14 would be best Cause the stock centres are a 3.7:1 ratio arent they so the 3.9:1 would have a slightly slower speed and higher revs |

I've got 6.5's on 31's and it sits 3500rpm @90kph. My solution will be just get bigger tyres |
