i had a bit of a google but only really found things about dual batteries and manual isolators.

basically what i want is to go camping and have my stereo on and when my battery drops below say 12v it shuts off the stereo, then i go start the car let it run for a bit, rinse and repeat.
that way i can have a few quiet ones and not have to remember to start my car every hour or whatever.

also i dont want dual batteries

but all i can find is manual switches, does such a thing exist?

I bought 2 of these to fit in my Vit a while back. Haven't fitted them yet but this is the sort of thing you'd be after...

I bought for about $20 ea. from Ebay as they are about $40 at Jaycar.

Depending on how good you are with electronics, this sounds like it will fit your requirements well.

connect that up to a relay that controlls whatever devices you want to switch off.
