So I have been wanting to buy a winch bar for my sierra and have had my eyes on the arb winch bar. though when i went into my local arb shop to talk to the guys these about it they said they could get me the bar easy, though they only have one winch that fits and its $1200 and its only 6000lbs. thats just crazy... So what winch bars are you guys running and what winch. If you are using the arb sierra winch bar what winch have you bought and did you have to modify the bar at all? im up to all suggestions, I really like the Xrox bars to, so if you have bars like this whats your winching set up? Cheers. |

Arb bar may be only design for the warn m6000 winch, but you can fit alot more winches in the bar. I hade a tigerz11 9500 winch in my bar. |

So you can fit that winch without cutting or modding the bar? Heaps helpful thank you. If anyone else has information like this chuck it at me! Thanks! |

from memory cost on a m6000 was around $820, so if they have one and they are discontinued, you should beable to talk a deal |

pezz wrote: from memory cost on a m6000 was around $820, so if they have one and they are discontinued, you should beable to talk a deal $820! Well I went to the arb store and they quoted $1200 and mentioned nothing about it being discontinued... So that's crossed off the list. jonfromhamilton wrote: make a bar I'm really considering it! |

ARB Sierra bars come up occasionally in the 'getting rid of stuff' section, or try ebay/gumtree, should be able to get one in good condition for around $500. Any winch will fit an ARB bar, you may need to go to the huge effort of drilling two extra holes in the bar so the feet of the winch line up and you may need to weld on a small piece of flat steel (30mmx150mmx3mm) for a bit of extra strength. |

It's a Tigerz11 6,000lb winch The holes in the bar are, 250mm centre to centre horizontally 105 - 120mm centre to centre vertically The main flat area where the winch sits is 300mm x 160mm before the bar starts to taper. The Tigerz is a small winch and the mounting holes don't line up but it will be easy to weld on a piece of steel plate and drill 2 holes to suit. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

So im not to sure on the dimensions of what winches will fit into the ARB winch bar. SO if anyone can tell me if the Tigerz11 9000lbs winch will fit in the Arb bar. This is the one im looking at buying: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TIGERZ11-900 ... 45fc3baac7 and im not talking about then bolt pattern, I can always drill new holes. but i mean if it will just fit. so ill be able to actually use this one with minimal modifications. Thanks for your help. |
