Post subject:  Rear disc conversion

Want to do a rear disc conversion could someone tell me how to do it properly. Or any ideas on what use have done. I've herd that it is a lot better then disc to drum but don't know how to do it properly.

I run a BenT rear disc conversion. (On a Vitara)
Easier than making your own.

Nissan Pintara rear callipers over Sierra front discs have been used successfully in many Sierra conversions.
Using a rear calliper for conversion helps with brake bias.
Using a calliper with an inbuilt hand brake makes life easier.

If you have a centre drum hand brake, that's less of an issue.
Lowrange had conversions for sale.

LROR offer a couple of kits too.
You have at least 3 business's you can deal with, unfortunately at least two of those mentioned in this thread suck balls at communication :(

I was going to say the same thing. Best not to think cheap when it comes to brakes.
