Hey peeps i just got a brand new G16b engine put into my car... all water levels and oil levels were right.. i did the conversion myself except the wiring... i picked it up and took it for a drive.. nek minit after i took off at one point on the way home, theres a horibble noise coming from the engine like the pistons running up and down are clunking clicking and so forth.. it only seems to be when i decelerate sit idling, but when i accelerate it dissapears until i reach a stable speed.. no shot pistons, the engine wasnt overly hot? what could it be any ideas?

I had a tiny bolt from a new cheapy Chinese carb I put on my 86 fall into the engine. That made some horrible sounds like you describe although i didnt have time to see if it made sounds under load or not as i immediately shut it off. Luckily no damage...
