I'm sure i read in a forum on here that in NSW it was just a matter of going to the RTA
and swapping engine numbers when doing GTI into sierra swap?

was just talking to someone and he said will have to be engineered now to new law changes?

anyone know if this is true?

You can go to the RTA and swap the numbers. Wont make it legal. Dont think it ever worked that way outside of factory option engines for that model.
