Hello all.
I just bought this little '84 traytop on Gumtree. $1000. No doubt I paid too much but it was all I could find locally. Its a present for my daughter to use on her block. I have no intention of registering it. I just want to make it reliable. Engine seems to run quite sweet. Theres a few ugly grumbles underneath, especially in reverse, but hopefully nothing serious. (Might just be brake shoes). I'm hoping someone can point me to an F10A parts diagram or service manual on line. (Free I hope). I'm, especially interested in fuel pump plumbing as the previous owner has blocked off one of the pipes. I think its the return pipe but I want to make sure he hasn't mixed up the return pipe and the outlet pipe. This is my second Sierra. I also have an 87 1.3litre.
Any help regarding the 1 litre donk would be appreciated.
Thanks David

You should be able to find something here http://www.suzukiinfo.com/

Some replacement fuel pumps had an extra, unused outlet, maybe a bypass for oil if seal leaked. My stock 1.0L pump had main line and return line only.

lj10.com forum could be a useful site for the 1.0 motor. Very similar to the 800 in the LJ.

There's no online 1l Sierra manual. You can piece together info from an LJ80 manual and a 1.3l Sierra manual.
LJ80 and 1l Sierra engines are basically identical aside from difference in bore and stroke. LJ80 diff centres are the same size as 1l ones (different ratio) and the gearbox is quite similar too(unless you have a type 3 1l which has a gearbox similar to a 1.3l).
For brakes, steering and general body stuff, look at a 1.3l manual.
The one they've blocked off is probably the fuel tank breather to the charcoal canister. Get some pics and we can help you out.

Thanks guys. The blocked hose was definitely the return to tank. Not sure yet why it was blocked but theres been a bit of handy work done to this to fit the tray so perhaps it was just unfinished business. Or perhaps theres a diaphram leak that will show up in due course.
One other little thing. The rocker cover says 'Maruti'. Is this normal for an Australian vehicle? I thought that was just an Indian model.

They sold marutis here in Australia, it's probably got a maruti motor in it.
