Hey guys - i've taken off the nut on the arm, and loosened the nut where the cable mounts to the engine mount... so i have the cable and its rubber housing up outisde the engine bay, and it runs direct to the firewall... now - how does one pull the cable through to take it out!?!

Local 7-days parts store doesn't have any sierra cables listed but can match one up if i can bring the old one in.

So just need to know what to do from here?

My reason for replacing is that the linkage where it attaches to the pedal has snapped, so the pedal end still has the U shaped bracket attached but not cross bar bit to attach to the pedal.

nevermind- just figured it out =)

Had to remove the 2 bolts where it mounts to the firewall, and it comes out through the firewall on the engine bay side.

I just figured it'd pull through the footwell, dunno why.
