A few days ago I came across some pictures of a bolt on fabricated sill for the Jimny, it replaces the plastic. I am ripping my hair out trying to find it again. These looked similar to the ones that go on a sierra. Any ideas please? Cheers, Rob. |

Onto thin sheet metal tabs. It looks like it tops into the sill ledge from the top, and I'm guessing underneath uses the pissy tabs. |

I've been thinking of making something similar, There are also clips that go into the rounded vertical face of the sill behind the plastic which I'm thinking of utilising as well. I think that using face and tabs underneath, plus in from the top should make it strong enough. Vertical face clip holes ![]() There are also extra unused tabs underneath, the plastic only utilises every second tab. |

Yeah and they were great but I've done a deal with them to work up my own design I'll rough up a side as best I can then hand it over to the steel guy. |
