Any ones toyed with adjustable elongated ones that fit? I know ninja had the calmini adjustable one but haven't heard if it did anything to help or was even used. |

Mine are longer extended arms with around 40degree bend towards the end, has given heaps of flex in the rear but it looks as if the rear wheels are further back eg not centered in the arch, it also has kept the Diff level, before it was on a angle pointed upwards. I have a adjustable pan rod and it was a pain in the ass always tightening it. I gather it would be worse on trailing arms, would hate to think if one rattled apart on a corrugated road. |

Where did you get the longer arms? im happy to have it pushed back as with the rear bar there is unlimited room in the back only the front of the arch is limiting. Do the gv and xl7 run the same arms? |

Yep they run the same arms. I got them from Giz around 4 years ago with the pan rod, they still sell them, They fit the standard size bushes too which i get of ebay. I will try and find the photo of when i installed them and post it. You can attach the brake line to it as well but ive got them upside down and back to front to allow more clearance and alot more travel. They also do the upper arms to which are adjustable to vary the tilt of the diff if going 4" and above. |

Yeah I'm running the calmini adjustable ones mate but I wouldn't recommend them - I've actually got them set to being pretty much the same length as stock and they are all but maxxed out. I presume the SWB GVs must use shorter arms and they are specifically designed for them, as really the only adjustment you get on the wagons is to make them shorter than standard. Haven't had any issues with them coming loose at least, but yeah I definitely wouldn't buy them again knowing what I know now. The GIZ ones sound like the ticket. |

Adjustable Upper pitman arm. Lower Pitman arm (mine doesnt have as long brake line attachment) I use Ultima Comodore Wagon HD Shocks not what i ordered but ended up better than what i ordered, Much bigger bore and for 4wd use, stacks of flex, and not a bad ride, great for towing. Standard height and flexed height |

haha yes yes Fordem. Thats what Giz Call them. Suzuki call them Lateral Rods, others call trailing arms. |

I believe you are confused. Suzuki calls the trailing arms - rod assy, suspension upper & lower - what they call the rod assy, suspension lateral is commonly known as the panhard rod or track bar. |

Is that arm up side down Isn't the bend to help ground clearance not make it worse |

I think the bend is to help it slide over things, flipped it would get hung up easier i think... |

It's ment to be installed how i did it first in pic but I have it back to front and upside down now for more clearance they designed it like that to keep wheel centered on full flex I think There not on site have to ask for them. |

I don't see how the bend will keep the wheel/axle centered - it's rotating around a fixed point on the chassis, and the effective length doesn't change - so the axle moves in the same arc regardless of the shape of the arm. |

How high do you want to go lol? I measured a max lift on the XL of 6.5" before everything is stretched to its limits Wheels was still roughly center in the arch, but gather you want longer to move them back so can fit larger tyres? I will measure the distance between the front of arch to center of hub. I am wondering but its a guess if Nissan Patrol arms would fit? eg http://snakeracing.com.au/store/nissan- ... 1a3618d269 Would have to measure bush size and bolt hole size. I gather they will be either to wide a bush or diameter to large. |

haha yeah im at 4.5in in the rear of suspension lift, just want to move it back for larger tyres. I thought about some other adjustable ones for larger cars and making them short to fit. I was thinking around 30mm with a tailshaft spacer. at full flex the wheels are pretty much moved forward to the arches and thats just 225s |
