Hi all , I love most of the calmini kit but the shocks and struts suck very hrsh ride ........ now blown after 1 month of road work , what should I replace them with dobinson or ome ... what part number for the commodore rear shocks I heard they work well ?

I have dobs. Really happy with them.
Had some Lovells that were too stiff, but they didn't blow despite 3 years of use and sometimes abuse. Can't comment on OMEs.

Only 1 month use I'd be contacting Calamini for some replacements.

i agree with you! my brother had Calmini shocks last at least 2 years no problems.

I'd be looking at why they have blown. Are they bottoming out or topping out? is the vehicle modified other than the calmini kit...i.e. extra strut spacers ?

I can supply dobinsons struts. PM me for a quote, inc your location.

I reckon calamity struts are well known for rapid failure.

You might find also the OP had this kit for 8 months before fitting.

Suspension wise its only running the calmini 3 inch kit with calmini strut spacers , the front struts are leaking through the top seal rather badly .

Yep calmini shocks and struts are all pretty crap and harsh, Dobs are a nice ride with a thicker bore than calmini and shocks are often replaced with ones for other cars to get flex rather than a vit specific.
