Hay there I have just got my first Suzuki. I love it the only problem is it is down on power. It doesn't seem to want to go over 4000rpm it gets to 4000 but then very slow after that. Is this normal? I have done full service on it air filter. Oil. Oil filter. Plugs. Leads. Dizzy and rotor arm. Fuel filter. I struggle to maintain 110kmh in 4th gear up a slight hill. Has any one got the same set up or any suggestions. Could it be timing asin advanced and retard not working ir are the 1.6 8v just gutless.

Yes it could be timing for sure. Also check the secondaries are opening and have fuel flow.

Thanks Steve I rug my timing light out the shed it is no set at 8degrees it was all the way past 20 s will hope to see an improvement on that. Might save some fuel to. It has 480000 Km on it so I think I might look around for another motor for it so I can spend my time and build a engine up for it. What are ur thoughts on a turbo conversion?
