im in the market for a snorkel for my sierra
i dont want a metal one, as i'd rather the snorkel get damaged instead of the cabin if a tree or the ground jumps out at it

plastic would be preferred over fibreglass too..

anyhow... after some real world feed back on some snorkels, fit, finish, price ect ect

i have an Airflow snorkel which works just fine... Fit is a touch off as its not designed for sierra, its for a CJ-5 or something, but it still looks reasonable:

I had the same, and it was good enough. The snorkel itself held up to a lot of abuse, but the A pillar mount was crap and busted every time I laid over on it or hit a tree with it.

Yeah I recommend it. Good quality
But I haven't bashed it into rocks etc so I'm unsure how good it is against hits
The template that come with it wasn't the best. So you have to measure 3 times and cut once

cheers rob... i'd rather a exploding snorkel instead of a crushed cabin.. my cabin doesn't use a separate windscreen frame

Make sure you get the right one. Because newer sierras had the blinker in the middle of the guard like mine where as the older sierras had them at the front of the guard.
