Hi all, I've got the day off tomorrow so I thought might crack a carton of ginger ale and Ute chop my liana. Just wondering if its been done before and is there anything to watch out for. While I'm at it I might shorten the wheel base for tighter reverse donuts. It will be fully sick and I'll post pics

just remember a lot of the stiffness in the body comes from the roof, so you might need to add bracing after the chop to stiffen it up again... |

That was my first thought pezz but I'm going to one link the rear so it would hit the seat on hectic flex so it will have to be a bit behind the seats or mount the seat on the rear end. Was going to go custom rear axle but couldn't be bothered getto fabbing a hand brake so I might modify the factory setup if I can. |

Why two rear wheels? Just bung one in the middle, behind the front seats. suspension optional.  You could even make it real interesting by using one rear axle stub as a pivot - so your centre mounted rear wheel swings around like a shopping trolly castor wheel..  Use the handbrake on the vertical axle to lock the castor wheel in any direction you want  stephen |
