Well, yesterday after drying out all my carpet and removing the insulation, i went to put my battery back in my car. And whoever did the battery relocation only used black cables. Being away from my garage, and having no multi meter to check continuity to earth i had to guess which cable was what (i was 90% sure of it.. guess i was actually 90% wrong).

Aaaaaaaaaaand i blew the alternator fuse. SO my question is, given that NOONE is open today besides pick and payless who happen to have ZERO vitaras on site (i rkn bs but anyway) what other zooks use this type of fuse? It's a big square looking thing which is held into the fuse block in the engine bay with two screws. I would get a picture of it but I am at home and the car is not here. Do sierras use them? swifts? Any help appreciated!

Sure it is a fuse? Just because it went bang doesn't mean it is meant to...

Sierra's dont, some Swift's might. They are a standard kinda thing though, Repco, Supercheap etc should have them, and if you cant find one of them open try a servo.

alot of the places like repco and whatever don't seem to hold the higher amp ones like you find in bigger cars though but you should be able to get one for a suzuki what it is it an 80? or something

Sweet as no worries got one out of a hyundai sonata.. haha. There was nowhere open and my mate wanted to have a gander at picknpayless anyway.

I work on euros all day so I haven't been exposed to this type of fuse before hence my confusion!
