Hey all, I've got a 91 sierra that had a genuine Suzuki A/C system installed in 94, which was the year they switched to R134a, on the receipt they haven't recorded the gas charge. Does anyone know the capacity of the R134a systems?

My book is from USA and doesn't list Sierra/Samurai.
It says Swift gets 1.10lbs(500g) and Sidekick[Vitara] gets 1.33lbs(600g).
I'd expect a Sierra to take at least 450g.

Hmm, I found a random site that says 510g, but whether I can trust it or not is another question haha 500ish sounds about right, might just have to do it by feel. Thanks for that mate!

Wack 300g in and the TX valve will allow the pump to run. Add 75g increments and keep an eye on the pressures on H and L.
For R134a:
LOW side should be 21-28 psi
HIGH side should be 256-313psi
